I needed to replace my roof. Since my dad was a contractor and worked on plenty of roofs before, he agreed to help me do it so I didn’t have to pay someone else to do it for me. He’s a retired roofer, but still knows what he is doing. He told me that I needed to look for the actual roofing products and told me to search for TAAMKO.
Instead of spending time looking locally for TAAMKO, I went online and searched for their roofing products. I found their website which had information on the different type of roofing products available. I didn’t really know what to get so I asked my dad if he would take a look at all the options and let me know what I needed to order. He came over later that day and looked at their website. He said they added lots of new products and the best thing to do would be to look for information on each one. Since he hadn’t been in the business for awhile, he wasn’t really sure. He said he would call an old friend that is still in the business and ask him for his opinion.
Later that evening he called me back. I had spent some of that time reading reviews and pretty much had my mind made up on what roofing products to purchase. The one in particular I had in mind is the same one his friend recommended. I told him that’s what I was going to get and he asked me how long it would take to get the materials so we could get started. I told him it would probably be next week.
I was able to find a retailer from the TAAMKO website. I was able to compare prices between several of them to find the one that had the best price of all. I ordered the roofing supplies I needed to get started on my roof and received them the following week. I called my dad and let him know I got the supplies and that we could get started at any time. He said he wanted to get started as soon as possible. Luckily it was close to the weekend and it was also nice outside.
